Dr. Odette Suter is a veterinarian from
Switzerland. Having grown up working at a near-by horse barn, it was
no surprise that her love for horses and animals in general would
remain her passion. During her studies she became very aware of the
strengths and limitations of traditional veterinary medicine. In
search for ways to not only alleviate symptoms, but also cure dis-eases
she was led to learn about horses' hooves and their role in the
overall health of horses. While in vet school, she was trained as a
natural hoof care provider. Very early on in her studies she also
felt a deep desire to understand animals and the gift they bring to
us. When she moved to the US, she therefore continued her education
toward holistic medicine and expanded her knowledge to include
animal communication, veterinary acupuncture, and different energy
healing modalities such as shamanism and cranio-sacral therapy.
In search of greater wholeness within herself
she concurrently embarked on a journey of personal growth. This
allowed her to deepen her ability to support people and animals on
their path. She continued to study and earned a masters degree in
Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica,
California, and went on to complete a program of Soul-Centered
Leadership from the same school. Never tired of discovering more
about the cause of disease and how to assist others' healing, she is
currently studying Traditional Chinese Medicine at Emperor's College
in the same town.
Odette's intention is to guide
individuals on a journey to well-being that integrates body, mind,
emotions and spirit, while taking into account the environment we
live in.
