Mary Gallagher

Mary has been immersed in horses since the age of 6. She has many accomplishments in the show arena and continues to test her skill of communication there today. For more than a decade Mary has been focusing on the extraordinary bond that can be reached through natural horsemanship. Her love for this connection between horse and human was first sparked by Jimmy Williams, while she was riding and instructing for him. Later she found that Pat Parelli's style was similar to what Jimmy taught and began a journey into Parelli Natural Horsemanship. Today Mary has more than 10 years experience in Natural Horsemanship and she and her students are carrying that knowledge successfully forward into all areas of equine sport and competition.

Mary is a strong advocate of creating a natural lifestyle for the horse, in which he is free to express his true nature. Mary's horses live in a herd environment and they are not restricted by shoes and blankets. Watching and learning about herd dynamic helps her students develop their own horsemanship and communication skills. Mary trims her own horses with the guidance of her husband, Jerry, and practices natural healing methods using photonic therapy, homeopathy, and body work. She tries to empower her students to learn and be responsible for the health of their own horses as well. Natural health and horsemanship has become the foundation of Mary's teaching program, and all students have a solid base in natural horsemanship before moving on to jumping, dressage, and competitions.

Mary is a Parelli 2** Instructor.
