Jerry is a man of
many talents. Owner of Freedom Farm with wife Mary, he has been in the
cow business for 35 years. This experience has taught him a lot about
herd dynamics and how to move around prey animals with a quiet
confidence. When he met Mary in 1994, she was passionate about natural
horsemanship, particularly Parelli Natural Horsemanship. Jerry began
working with horses and was able to pass his Level 1 in a very short
time, due to his calm way of being. That was just the beginning of his
journey into further study of natural methods of horse handling and
health care.
After five years of
study and helping horses with the most difficult of hoof problems, Jerry
became a teacher for the International Center for Equine Arts. He
then began studying natural balance dentistry with Spencer LaFlure, aka
"The Tooth Fairy," and has accumulated hundreds of hours in equine
dentistry.
